"Humans are by turns social and solitary creatures, and the way one chooses to clothe oneself is a reflection of this. Fashion design allows me to translate my interest in social and cultural phenomena into tactile forms. Fashion is really the study of the individual: of who we are and how we want to be perceived. I am especially interested in exploring the dynamics of duality and feminism in my work."

Molly Wimmel is a graduate of the School of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning at the University of Cincinnati. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and was named the Outstanding Fashion Design Student of the Class of 2014 by the fashion design faculty. She has worked in the US, the UK, and Iceland.
