1/16" Lasercut Chipboard
Series of screens designed for an elective architecture course in parametric design and nonlinear thinking, that could be used to provide protection from the sun, either independently or in tandem with one another.
The screens were designed in Autodesk Maya, then converted to Adobe Illustrator files for laser cutting and fabrication.
Emphasis was placed on how the designs of the screens relate to one another and the impact their combined presence would have in shadows cast on the ground.
